Elan from 75-78

Postby RI Mike » Wed Feb 25, 2009 5:12 pm

Hi I was at Elan durring those dates. Seems like a lifetime ago. Now I'm 50 and a Grandfather. They told me I'd never live past 16... Proved 'em all wrong.

Hey my name is Daniel Bennison I was there from this time and in a house w/ Mike from R.I. Elan 5. Mike nice to know your still alive. Our Director was Marty and you were transferred to Elan 6. We played some great games of football against one another. Champanionship Game Elan 5 vs Elan 6. Couldn't get a bigger game than that in southern Maine. I here you got clean, you said it. Mike stay connected with N.A. I have 21 yrs. in A.A. It does work if you work it. Stay in touch Danny

Wow what a blast from the past! This is Kerry and I was in Elan 2A when both Mike and Danny were staff. I am also from RI and about to be 50 and a Grandmother to 3 beautiful girls, I have one son. I was also at 7 when Danny was staff I had just arrived and the house went into a tight house...I have read most of the malcontented posts on Fornits and just shake my head. I hope all find peace in their lives in whatever way they need to...Elan is part of me and I am who I am today for all of my experiences, because of or in spite of.

My name is Danny Bennison, lived with Alan Frey. I remember Micky, Diane and Bob. I was in Elan 5 from 10/75 - 1/77. I got to Elan 6/75 was at Elan 3 at first.
Ed Freidman was my director first at Elan 5 then Marty took over 11/75.
